Natural Food Europe comes to ExCel

Natural Food Europe comes to ExCel

17 March 2017

The eagerly anticipated Natural Food Show returns to London ExCel on 2-3 April 2017.  As part of Natural & Organic Products Europe, the exhibition is the only dedicated trade show in the UK to showcase the latest natural and organic foods, drinks, natural healthcare products, natural personal care and eco-household products under one roof and the show is undoubtedly regarded as the ‘must attend’ flagship event within the natural food and drinks industry.

Health-conscious consumers continue to switch to natural alternatives in ever-increasing numbers and it is no surprise that this year’s event will host an even greater array of established and newly launched products, as well as speciality and artisan brands. KLBD will be there.

New in 2017 is a Vegan World feature which will bring to together many UK and international vegan brands in one dedicated area. As a reflection of this sector moving from niche to mainstream there is an increased number and diversity of products on offer, some of which are already kosher certified. Almost 40% of pre-register visitors are looking to purchase vegan and vegetarian food. In addition after a successful inaugural year Holland & Barrett returns with its Pitch Live event. Short listed exhibitors will be able to present their new products or innovations to the company’s buying team.

As one of the world’s leading kosher certification agencies, KLBD certify some 40,000 ingredients and over 2,000 retail products throughout the world and is delighted to be exhibiting again this year at the Natural Food Show. Retail sales manager, Sharon Feldman-Vazan and her colleagues will be warmly welcoming visitors to Stand N42 where information will be available on the undoubted benefits of acquiring kosher certification.

The distinctive KLBD logo is instantly recognised and respected as an established sign of quality throughout the world and not only open doors for food brands and raw material manufacturers to new markets, but can also be instrumental in generating additional sales revenue.

Many KLBD certified companies will also be exhibiting at the show and these include Booja Booja, Chi Coconut, Natural Balance Foods, Naturya Natural Foods, Organic Seed and Bean Co and The Raw Chocolate Company.  KLBD certified Rude Health will also be exhibiting their highly acclaimed ‘Eat right, stay brilliant’ range of natural food and drinks products on Stand P14.

For lovers of all things chocolate, a visit to Stand M10 is recommended where The Raw Chocolate Company will be exhibiting a mouthwatering selection of brightly packaged chocolate bars and snacks. Linus Gorpe founded the company in 2006 with a mission to make chocolate ‘better for us, better for the growers, better for the environment and better for children’ and his passion for creating innovative products shines through with exciting flavours such as Salted Vanoffee Hazelnut, Ginger and Lemon and Goji and Orange in the chocolate bar range.

The equally delicious chocolate snacks range includes raw chocolate berries and nuts. Linus was happy to point out, ‘Most of our products are naturally Kosher. It’s great to have the formal certification so that people can have peace of mind when purchasing our raw chocolate goodies. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy them’!

Another stand likely to be attracting heavy traffic is the Booja Booja range of chocolate truffles and dairy free ice cream. Visitors to Stand L24 will be hoping to see and better still sample some of the delicious dairy, gluten and soya free products in a range which is available throughout the UK.  Marketing Coordinator, Louise Collins, commented, ‘We are delighted that all of our Dairy Free Ice Creams have KLBD Certification.

It’s a seal of approval, of reliability and traceability, which gives Jewish customers confidence that they can enjoy our delicious products, safe in the knowledge that all the laws of Kosher food production have been followed. Being Kosher has opened up a new market to us and enabled us to sell our products in even more places.

Booja-Booja Dairy Free Ice Cream is classified as Parev Food because it contains neither meat nor dairy and as such can be served with either meat or dairy kosher foods. Kosher Certification is a great addition to our Soil Association Organic and Vegan Society approved credentials’.

Over at Stand N5, Natural Balance Foods will be exhibiting their well-established Nakd range of wholefood snack alternatives and cereal bars and a visit to Stand V23 will find the Organic Seed & Bean Company.  The latter was founded in 2005 with the mission of creating an ethical range of confectionery based on the exclusive use of organic ingredients. Compared to its mass production counterparts, Seed & Bean deliberately keeps a small manufacturing facility and is proud of its status as ‘chocolate artisans’.

For a sneak preview of KLBD certified Naturya products, Stand H35 is the place to visit. Naturya is widely regarded as the market leader for single ingredient superfoods such as wheatgrass, spirulina, acai, coconut oil, goji berries and cacao.  Following on from the successful launch of the Breakfast Boosts snack range last year, more exciting products are scheduled to be introduced in 2017.

Last but not least, the Chi Coconut and Drinks range, including Coconut Waters, Coconut Milks and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, is being displayed on Stand L5.   Chi’s Myriem Zani commented, ‘we are passionate about making healthy products that are full of goodness and taste delicious. All of our products are 100% natural, high in potassium and packed with electrolytes, which keep the body rehydrated, vibrant and healthy’.

A visit to the Natural Food Show guarantees a unique chance to not only see the latest products and innovations first hand, but also to arrange one to one appointments with the exhibitors promoting them.  There is also a perfect opportunity to attend live cooking demos and talks by nutritionists, chefs and food writers on every conceivable topic which touches the food industry.  There is so much to pack into the Natural Food Show at ExCel over the two days that careful planning is essential in order to gain the maximum benefit from the experience.
