Frankfurt at the Intersection of World Ingredients

5 November 2024

The much-anticipated Fi Europe trade show returns to Messe Frankfurt, Germany between 19-21 November 2024. Justifiably regarded as the premier global food ingredients event, fifteen hundred exhibitors have booked their stands, with a massive twenty five thousand visitors expected to attend.

Exhibitors will be showcasing the entire spectrum of ground breaking food ingredients and associated technologies, from raw materials to processing solutions. Such is the reach of the show that a series of offshoot events have spread to Africa, Asia, North and South America.

“As a regular attendee of Fi Europe since its inception in 1986, the annual journey to Frankfurt has become a pilgrimage for me and many others in the global food ingredients industry”, comments Clive Morris, of ingridnet.com. This event offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with clients, both old and new, and stay abreast of the latest innovations and trends. With the global population expected to peak around 2050, and the increasing threat of climate change, I am always encouraged to see the industry’s strides toward more sustainable food production.  At ingridnet.com we help the world to find food ingredients from thousands of suppliers every day of the year.”

As there is so much to see and experience, the organisers have planned a thoughtful layout of show areas and pavilions so that attendees can make the best use of their busy schedules. The show is again hosted in Halls 3 and 4. The main show floor area features exhibitors across the entire food ingredient industry, including expansive ranges of flavours and food additives, as well as proteins, fibres and fats. The Health Ingredients Hall is a must for discovering ingredients with functional health benefits, including products to aid digestion and immunity, as well as for metabolism and weight management.  The designated Food Technologies and Solutions zone is an essential port of call for F&D manufacturers seeking practical solutions to secure their supply chain requirements.
