Putting kosher certification on the map in Spain
Companies in Spain are providing a varied range of kosher certified products to food manufacturers and direct to consumers across the globe. Below are three such enterprises which create KLBD kosher certified products.
Innova Food Ingredients is part of Central Lechera Asturiana (CLAS) which is an agrarian conglomerate that controls firms making dairy products and feed for livestock. Based in the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain, CLAS has dairy brands such as Larsa in the Galicia area, the Ato brand in the Catalonia region, and the Central Lechera Asturiana brand in the rest of Spain.
LUCTA FLAVOURINGS
Lucta, based in Barcelona, produces food flavourings and fragrances for foods, toiletries and cleaning products which it markets to manufacturers across the globe. The company is notable for being the first to publish its research papers on food flavourings openly on the web. Lucta has operational centres in North America, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Russia, China and the Philippines.
PRODUCTOS CHURRUCA
Productos Churruca, based in Valencia, produces a range of fried broadbeans, fried chickpeas and roasted corn for pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants and wholesalers. The company is a family business which has been run by three generations of family members since 1932. The roasted corn is gluten-free and available in a range of flavours including chilli, barbecue and lemon with pepper.
