KOREA FOOD WEEK

Korea is the 13th largest economy in the world with growth expected of 3.7% by 2019. Korea Food Week is the top exhibition in the country for every aspect of the food and drink industry. Exhibitors include raw materials through to retail products as well as packaging and machinery. Particular foods included are cultivated food products, prepared food products such as pickled and preserved food, health foods including traditional Korean food, some of which is already kosher certified.

The 11th edition of the exhibition takes place between 2nd and 5th November. Around 1,000 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors are expected. Amongst the visitors buyers are expected from Lotte Mart, E-Mart, Homeplus, Mega Mart, Nonghyup Hanaro, Savezone, GS25, Seven Eleven, Ministop and department stores Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai and AK Plaza.
